Full job description

We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team at our new press sushi restaurant located in Villeray at 740 Cremazie est.

Nous recherchons des personnes dynamiques pour rejoindre notre équipe dans notre nouveau restaurant de sushi pressé situé à Villeray au 740 Cremazie est.

Must have qualities: Autonomous, proactive, team work, optimistic, integrity, honesty and positive energy.

Roles and Responsibilities / Rôles et responsabilités:

- Customer service / Service à la clientèle

- Serving clients / Service aux clients

- Able to handle multiple tasks / Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches

- Cash management / Gestion de la caisse

- Kitchen duties / Tâches en cuisine

- Cleaning tasks / Tâches de nettoyage

- Teamwork / Travail d'équipe

- Knowledge of alcoholic drinks / Connaissance des boissons alcoolisées

Requirements / Exigences:

- Must be 18 years old or older / Doit être âgé de 18 ans ou plus

- Fluent in French and English / Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais

- Experience in an Asian/Japanese restaurant is a plus / Une expérience dans un restaurant asiatique/japonais est un atout

Duties

Mix and serve drinks following standard recipes
Take customer orders and provide recommendations when needed
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Maintain a clean and organized bar area
Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
Monitor alcohol intake of customers to prevent overconsumption
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred
Knowledge of the food industry and food handling practices
Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
Understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles
Awareness of food safety regulations
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
