Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As a vital part of our restaurant management, the Sous Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, support culinary excellence, and ensure food safety standards are maintained. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in the food industry to advance their career in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including supervising staff and coordinating food preparation.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Support restaurant management in menu planning, recipe development, and presentation standards.
Serve as a leader during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders and excellent customer experience.
Handle customer feedback professionally and implement improvements as needed.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service setting.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling.
Excellent team management and leadership abilities to motivate staff effectively.
Extensive restaurant management knowledge, including kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
Experience in the food industry with a solid understanding of hospitality standards.
Ability to oversee food service from preparation to serving while maintaining high standards of quality.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness.
Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who are eager to develop their leadership skills within a professional kitchen setting.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
