Electro-mechanical Technician

Location: North York, ON
Pay: $24.00–$30.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Our client is a respected manufacturer specializing in industrial loading dock and truck restraint equipment. They are known for their stable operations, supportive management team, and strong commitment to workplace safety and employee development.

They are currently seeking an experienced Electro-mechanical Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and assembly experience looking for long-term stability and growth.

Position Summary

The Electro-mechanical Technician will be responsible for the electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical products. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and manufacturing processes, along with the ability to support customers both remotely and on-site when required.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly of truck restraint and related products
Wire electrical components and assemblies
Test control panels and assembled products
Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues
Provide telephone troubleshooting support to customers in the field
Travel to customer locations for service and troubleshooting when required
Maintain compliance with all company safety standards and WHMIS requirements
Identify and report workplace safety concerns
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Support additional production and maintenance duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or Electrician within a manufacturing environment
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with electrical wiring, control panels, and equipment repair
Understanding of electrical and electronic principles
Technical diploma, trade certification, or post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Customer service experience is considered an asset
Valid G Driver’s License with clean abstract
Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and the United States when required

Working Conditions

Full-time permanent opportunity
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Occasional overtime and weekend work as required
Manufacturing environment with hands-on assembly and troubleshooting duties
