Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Indian Brunch Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management, with a focus on Indian cuisine. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Chef will play a key role in menu development, team leadership, and maintaining high-quality food service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic Indian brunch dishes with attention to flavor, presentation, and quality standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and team management to ensure efficient operations
Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper storage practices
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
Ensure timely service during busy brunch hours while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Lead by example in food safety practices and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence
Serve as a mentor for junior kitchen staff and foster a positive team environment

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within Indian cuisine or similar culinary styles
Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
Strong background in food service operations, team management, and restaurant management
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling of ingredients
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Previous experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector is essential
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food presentation, and serving techniques
