Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, bilingual (Farsi/ English) and professional Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies.
Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and promote specials or menu items.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours through effective time management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant or bar environment.

Skills

Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly by verifying IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
Familiarity with the food service industry’s standards for hospitality excellence.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing outstanding hospitality experiences while developing valuable skills in the food service industry.
Fluent in Farsi and English
