Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food industry management, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, managing restaurant functions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving business growth.

Duties

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with safety standards
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Monitor daily operations including serving, bar service, and kitchen activities to maintain high-quality standards
Implement and enforce food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
Coordinate inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability
Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and supervise team performance to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to efficient restaurant operations
Support marketing initiatives and special events to increase customer engagement

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for transaction management
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff development
Experience in interviewing potential employees and building effective teams
Knowledge of restaurant operations including cash handling, food service standards, and hospitality best practices
Prior hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required; relevant experience in the food industry is essential
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team and deliver outstanding customer service

Pay: $27.20-$30.36 per hour
