Full job description

D.C.L. Woodworking Limited is a Brampton-based custom millwork business serving residential and commercial customers throughout the G.T.A. We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Marker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high quality cabinets.

Responsibilities

Construct cabinets according to specifications and blueprints.
Utilize various woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure DCL standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Engage in heavy lifting as required during the construction and assembly processes.

Skills

Minimum 5 years as cabinet maker or similar woodworking experience.
Proficient in blueprint reading to accurately interpret design plans.
Good knowledge of cabinet construction; kitchens, vanities, customer millwork
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Attention to keeping a clean, and organized workspace, and care for equipment provided
Coachable personality and open communication between colleagues and management
Ability to ask for help and check with more experienced team members for understanding
