Job Overview

Looking for a summer job where you can earn money, stay active, and enjoy working outdoors? Frisco Pools is hiring a Summer Student Pool Cleaner to join our seasonal service team. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hardworking student who enjoys hands-on work, being outside, and learning practical skills in a fast-paced service environment.

In this role, you will assist with residential pool cleaning, routine maintenance, service calls, and general labour tasks throughout the summer season. Applicants must be willing and able to commute to the Bolton area and travel between job sites alongside experienced team members in a company vehicle.

No previous pool experience is required, but a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with cleaning and maintaining residential swimming pools and hot tubs
Vacuum pools, skim debris, brush walls and steps, and empty baskets
Help with water testing and basic water treatment balancing
Assist technicians with pool openings, maintenance visits, and general service tasks
Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and supplies
Maintain a clean and professional work area at customer properties
Follow safety procedures and company standards while working on-site
Travel with the service team to job locations throughout the local service area

Job Requirements

A student seeking summer employment
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Possess a valid Ontario G2 or G driver’s licence
Comfortable driving company vehicles and travelling between customer job sites, as required
Willing and able to commute to Bolton, Ontario
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Comfortable working outdoors (rain or shine) in summer weather and performing physical labour
Comfortable with the realities of outdoor labour, including the removal of debris and organic matter from equipment
Ability to swim and tread water unassisted without touching the bottom or sides of the pool
Able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and remain active throughout the workday
Steel-toe work boots
Strong attention to detail and pride in completing work properly
Polite, respectful, and professional when working around customers’ homes
Previous experience in pool service, landscaping, construction, cleaning, or general labour is an asset, but not required
