Adecco is currently hiring full-time experienced and polished VIP Event Servers for a prestigious, high-profile sailing event taking place on the Halifax waterfront
This exclusive opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals who excel in premium service environments and are passionate about delivering white-glove, personalized guest experiences . If you bring professionalism, attention to detail, and a natural ability to anticipate guest needs, we want you on this elite team.
This position provides an all-inclusive wage structure, and there is no cash or tip handling required

Pay Rate: $ 34.59/hour
Location: Halifax, NS
Shifts: June 18 - June 21/2026
- June 18 - NA
- June 19 - NA
- June 20 - 11:00am - 9:00pm OR 12:00pm - 8:00pm
- June 21 - 11:00am - 9:00pm OR 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional, high-touch food and beverage service to VIP guests
Provide attentive, discreet, and professional table service
Anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless, elevated experience
Serve wine, cocktails, and plated or tray-passed cuisine with precision
Maintain immaculate table settings and service areas
Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and event leadership
Uphold premium service standards aligned with a luxury event environment
Assist with VIP section setup, service execution, and teardown

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be 19+ (Nova Scotia legal age for alcohol service)
Valid Serve Right Certification (Nova Scotia) required
Ability to work flexible event hours, including evenings and weekends
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
Previous experience in fine dining, luxury events, or VIP service required
Strong knowledge of food & beverage service, including wine and cocktail service
Exceptional communication and guest service skills
Ability to remain calm, composed, and detail-focused in a fast-paced environment
Impeccable grooming, professionalism, and presentation
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
Passion for delivering memorable, high-end guest experiences
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
