As we continue to grow across Canada, we are looking for a motivated Sales & Business Development Co-op / Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in real-world sales, client development, proposal writing and business strategy.

You will work directly with our sales leadership team, contribute to active growth initiatives and learn how a national service company identifies opportunities, builds relationships and wins new business.

What You’ll Learn

Business-to-business sales and professional outreach
Lead generation and prospect research
Client communication and relationship building
CRM management using HubSpot
Sales proposal and presentation development
RFP and tender opportunity tracking
Social media and brand support
Sales reporting, pipeline tracking and follow-up strategy
How a growing national company competes for and wins new contracts

What You’ll Do

As part of the sales team, you will support the day-to-day activities that help West Egg Security grow. Responsibilities may include:

Researching prospective clients and identifying new business opportunities
Supporting outbound outreach by email, phone and LinkedIn
Helping qualify leads and organize prospect information
Maintaining accurate records in HubSpot CRM
Assisting with sales follow-ups, meeting preparation and client coordination
Supporting the creation of presentations, sales materials and proposal content
Tracking RFPs, tenders and other business development opportunities
Helping maintain brand consistency across social media and sales content
Supporting internal coordination between sales, operations and recruitment teams
Learning how to turn early-stage opportunities into meaningful client conversations

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, professional and excited to grow. The ideal candidate will bring:

Interest in sales, business development, marketing, entrepreneurship or operations
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence speaking with new people and asking thoughtful questions
Strong organization and attention to detail
Comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and online tools
Willingness to learn CRM systems such as HubSpot
A positive attitude and self-starter mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Curiosity, coachability and a desire to build a meaningful career

Previous sales experience is helpful but not required. We care more about attitude, effort, professionalism and willingness to learn.
