Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cell Phone Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both hardware and software components, including operating systems such as Android and iOS, and be capable of working with schematics and hand tools. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where technical expertise and customer service skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair hardware issues on mobile devices, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and component repairs
Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems like Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
Use schematics and technical diagrams to identify faulty components and perform precise repairs
Utilize hand tools effectively for disassembly and reassembly of devices
Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality before returning to customers
Assist retail sales by providing technical advice and product recommendations when needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during repairs
Keep detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each device

Requirements

Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
Familiarity with computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and analysis skills
Ability to read schematics and work with various hand tools effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience with retail sales or customer service is a plus
Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
