Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our financial team.

40 HOURS/WEEK

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting operations. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes. If you have a passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
Assist in budgeting activities by providing necessary financial data and reports.
Perform data entry tasks with attention to detail to ensure all information is correctly recorded.
Interacting with clients and processing transactions
Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Respond to inquiries regarding accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Skills

2-3 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial services.
Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
