Nail Technician Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and body waxing, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and sanitized environment for our clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations.
Upsell retail products to clients based on their individual nail care needs.
Keep accurate records of services performed and products sold.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide clients with the best service possible.

Requirements

Valid Nail Technician license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience of about 2 years in nail care, eyelashes and body waxing is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques is a plus.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations in the beauty industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Canadian work experience would be preferred.
