Due to growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Leasing and Property Administrator to join our team.

Position Overview

The Leasing and Property Administrator will support the leasing and property operations functions across a portfolio of industrial and commercial properties. This role is responsible for lease administration, tenant relations, property coordination, financial administration and maintaining accurate property records while supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review and administer lease agreements, renewals, amendments and terminations
Maintain lease documentation, critical dates and financial information within property management systems (e.g. Yardi)
Ensure lease documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements
Act as a primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, requests and service issues
Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections and assist with routine property walkthroughs
Assist with vendor and service coordination including cleaning, security and building services
Process rental payments, deposits and maintain accurate tenant accounts receivable records
Generate rent rolls and follow up on overdue accounts when required
Assist with operating expense audits and year-end CAM reconciliations
Compile and maintain financial and operational property reports
Provide administrative support to leasing and property management operations as required
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Degree or diploma in business, real estate, property management or related field is preferred
Sound understanding of commercial leasing.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property administration, leasing administration or commercial real estate is required
Experience supporting industrial and commercial properties is required
Experience working with property management software such as Yardi is considered an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focused approach
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong work ethic, professionalism and reliability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
