Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves hands-on outdoor work focused on maintaining and enhancing various landscape projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable operating a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and repair projects
Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and skid steer
Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and lawn care
Support construction activities related to landscape features and structures
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
Assist with site preparation, grading, and soil improvement activities
Follow safety protocols and ensure the proper handling of mechanical equipment

Requirements

Prior experience or familiarity with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is a plus
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is desirable
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs
Ability to drive small truck and trailer
Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and construction projects

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
