Carpenter / Renovation Technician

About the Position

Groupe SV Construction is looking for a motivated and reliable carpenter to join our growing renovation and construction team. We work on residential renovation projects including basements, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, framing, finishing, and exterior repairs.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, works well in a team environment, and is comfortable on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

Perform framing, drywall, finishing, and general carpentry work
Install flooring, doors, trim, and cabinets
Assist with demolition and site preparation
Read plans and measurements accurately
Maintain clean and safe job sites
Work efficiently with team members and subcontractors
Use power tools and construction equipment safely
Communicate professionally with clients and supervisors

Requirements

Experience in residential construction or renovations
Ability to work physically and lift heavy materials
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Own basic tools (preferred)
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of Quebec/Ontario construction standards is an asset

Description du poste

Groupe SV Construction est à la recherche d’un charpentier motivé et fiable pour se joindre à notre équipe en pleine croissance. Nous réalisons principalement des projets résidentiels de rénovation : sous-sols, salles de bain, cuisines, planchers, charpente, finition intérieure et réparations extérieures.

Nous recherchons une personne professionnelle, autonome et soucieuse de la qualité du travail.

Responsabilités

Effectuer des travaux de charpente, gypse, finition et menuiserie générale
Installer planchers, portes, moulures et armoires
Participer à la démolition et à la préparation des chantiers
Lire les plans et prendre des mesures précises
Maintenir les lieux propres et sécuritaires
Collaborer efficacement avec l’équipe et les sous-traitants
Utiliser les outils électriques et équipements de façon sécuritaire
Communiquer professionnellement avec les clients et superviseurs

Exigences

Expérience en construction résidentielle ou rénovation
Bonne capacité physique
Permis de conduire valide (un atout)
Posséder ses outils de base (un atout)
Être fiable, ponctuel et minutieux
Capacité à travailler seul et en équipe
Connaissance des normes de construction Québec/Ontario (un atout)
