Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate the dining experience. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership will inspire creativity, foster teamwork, and maintain a vibrant, efficient kitchen environment that delights our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while managing a talented team in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
Train staff on food preparation techniques, hygiene practices, and customer service standards
Coordinate with restaurant management to plan staffing schedules, special events, and menu changes

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive food preparation and cooking skills with a strong understanding of various cuisines
Demonstrated food service experience with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction
Excellent team management and leadership abilities to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
Solid restaurant management knowledge including inventory control, cost management, and operational procedures
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques to ensure compliance with health regulations
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and management teams
Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
