Overview

We’re hiring a Construction Manager to take ownership of our construction operations.

We currently manage over 30 active projects and are continuing to scale. Our systems are strong, but not perfect. This role is responsible for tightening execution, improving performance, and driving results across the board.

You will lead the team, own project profitability, and ensure jobs move forward on time and at a high standard.

This is not a role where you wait for direction. You will be expected to make decisions, solve problems, and take responsibility for outcomes.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Profitability and Performance

You own the numbers.

Manage $10M–$20M in active construction volume

Protect and improve gross margins across all projects

Catch problems early and fix them before they become expensive

If margins slip or costs drift, this role is responsible for correcting it quickly.

Scheduling and Execution

Own and drive the master schedule across 30+ projects

Keep projects moving. Delays don’t sit, they get solved

Work closely with PMs and Team Leads to remove bottlenecks

We don’t accept “that’s just how construction goes.”

Leadership, HR and Culture

Lead 5 direct reports and oversee 20+ field staff

Set clear expectations and hold people accountable

Hire, develop, and remove team members when needed

We value cooperation and loyalty, but not at the expense of performance.

Trades and Vendors

Manage subcontractors based on results, not convenience

Maintain strong relationships while holding a high standard

Continuously improve trade quality, reliability, and pricing

Health, Safety and Compliance

Enforce safety standards across all sites

Ensure permitting, inspections, and code requirements are handled properly

Maintain clean, organized, professional job sites

Systems, Technology and Improvement

Own and enforce use of CoConstruct, ClickUp, Workforce, and related systems

Ensure every project is visible, tracked, and controlled

Use technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and decision-making

If you avoid systems or rely on memory, this role will not work.

What We’re Looking For

Experience managing multiple construction projects at scale ($10M–$20M)

Strong understanding of job costing, margins, and profitability

Proven ability to lead teams and enforce accountability

High level of computer literacy and system usage

Familiarity with permitting, planning, and regulatory processes

Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
