Receptionist

For more than 50 years, Salvador Davis & Co. has proudly provided exceptional legal services to the communities of Sidney, the Saanich Peninsula, Greater Victoria, and the Gulf Islands. Our team of notaries and support staff is committed to delivering outstanding client service in a professional, welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our firm.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced professional office. You take pride in providing excellent customer service and have a strong attention to detail.

You will have:

A minimum of one year of experience in an administrative, reception, or customer service role (preferred).
Experience working in a law firm or notary public office (considered an asset).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to exercise sound judgment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Professional telephone etiquette and a polished, friendly manner.
A demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

What You'll Do

As the first point of contact for our firm, you will play an important role in creating a positive client experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Answering incoming telephone calls and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Scheduling appointments and welcoming clients to the office.
Assisting with mail and courier services, replenishing office supplies, photocopying, scanning, data entry, and filing.
Completing bank deposits and other banking-related errands.
Assisting with opening and closing client files.
Coordinating maintenance requests with equipment suppliers and IT service providers.
Providing general clerical and administrative support to the legal team.
Performing other related duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
