Construction Manager – Residential Construction (Single Family & Multi-Family)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to provide leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight to our Single Family and Multi-Family construction operations. This individual will play a key role in driving construction excellence by ensuring homes are built safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the high standards our homeowners have come to expect from Crystal Creek Homes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about residential construction, team development, quality craftsmanship, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor Site Supervisors, Assistant Site Supervisors, and field teams to achieve exceptional construction results
Ensure homes are built efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to Crystal Creek Homes’ quality standards
Drive improvements in build times while maintaining superior workmanship and customer satisfaction
Support cost-control initiatives and assist with trade procurement as required
Foster strong communication and collaboration between trades, suppliers, construction teams, and office departments
Prepare and maintain construction reporting and provide regular updates on build progress
Participate in plan reviews and construction check-set reviews when required
Develop and maintain scheduling templates within the operating system
Provide guidance and technical expertise to internal teams based on industry best practices and experience
Develop, refine, and implement processes and procedures that improve efficiency, consistency, and overall performance
Build and maintain strong working relationships with trades, suppliers, and industry partners
Evaluate trade performance and make recommendations to ensure quality, professionalism, and schedule adherence
Source and maintain framing crews and other key trade resources to support permit and construction timelines
Ensure site damage documentation is completed and trade partners are held accountable for repairs and costs
Conduct regular site visits to support quality control, safety, professionalism, scheduling, and customer satisfaction
Attend Homeowner Orientation Meetings and possessions as required to support team development and enhance the homeowner experience
Assist with trade partner meetings and events to strengthen relationships and communicate key company initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction management or leadership role within residential home building
Construction Management education or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, regulations, and quality standards
Thorough understanding of construction scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and cost controls
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities
Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
Professional, approachable, and collaborative leadership style
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with trades, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated accountability, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement
