Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders promptly, and addressing any concerns or requests.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and mixers; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining quality service.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
Proficient in using Positouch POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for customers.

*Must be available weekdays, weekends, holidays, late nights.

*Must have Smart Serve Certification.

*Business Hours - Sunday - Thursday 11AM-12AM, Friday & Saturday 11AM-1AM.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
