We are looking for a Manager (CPA) to join our team and contribute to both client success and a positive team environment. Strong & Associates is a CPA-approved learning office, providing aspiring CPAs with the mentorship, coaching, and practical experience needed to progress toward their designation while working on a diverse range of client engagements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead Client Engagements

Manage assurance, compilation, review, and tax engagements from planning through final delivery
Review financial statements, working papers, and supporting documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards
Provide clear, practical guidance to clients on accounting, tax, and business matters
Serve as a key contact for clients, maintaining strong and responsive working relationships

Support and Develop Your Team

Coach and mentor junior and intermediate team members as they develop their technical skills and confidence
Review work with a focus on quality, consistency, and practical learning opportunities
Support staff development by providing clear feedback and helping team members understand the “why” behind the work
Promote a collaborative environment where team members feel comfortable asking questions and growing their skills

Manage Workflow and Delivery

Coordinate assigned engagements to ensure timelines, standards, and client expectations are met
Monitor progress and ensure deadlines are achieved
Improve internal processes where appropriate to support efficiency and consistency
Help monitor workload distribution to maintain a steady and sustainable pace for the team

WHAT YOU BRING

CPA designation (required)
Experience in a public accounting firm at an assistant manager or manager level is required
Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting and taxation
Experience reviewing engagements and supporting the development of junior staff
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
Ability to manage competing priorities in a structured and organized way
