Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent guest services, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, customer service, and restaurant operations, with a focus on hospitality and teamwork. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and sanitation within a dynamic food industry setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and order processing.
Assist guests with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently during serving and cashiering duties.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations, dining areas, and equipment.
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
Manage time effectively to serve guests promptly during busy periods.
Restock supplies and assist in food preparation as needed to support smooth restaurant operations.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation standards diligently.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
Experience in food preparation, serving, or hospitality roles is a plus.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior restaurant experience is desirable but not required. This position provides an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry to grow their skills while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
