Landscaper/Groundskeeper – Marriott Niagara Falls Hotels

Key Responsibilities:

Performing general landscaping duties such as planting, weeding, and debris removal to ensure a well-maintained appearance.
Monitoring plant and grass health by maintaining appropriate moisture levels.
Operating light equipment (e.g., trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers) to keep grounds neat and manicured.
Trimming and pruning trees and shrubs as needed.
Removing and properly disposing of trash from exterior areas.
Assisting with special projects, including designing and planting flowers, shrubs, and bulbs.
Ensuring sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways are clean and safe, reporting any hazardous conditions for immediate repair.
Cleaning, washing, and refueling equipment after use.
Delivering exceptional customer service to guests.
Performing other duties as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on landscaping experience.
Proficiency in operating light landscaping equipment such as trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
Basic knowledge of plant care, grass maintenance, and fertilization techniques.
Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including summer heat.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance on lawn equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
