Full job description

En tant que commis à l’expédition et à la réception, votre rôle sera essentiel dans le bon fonctionnement de notre département des pièces tout en supportant les techniciens spécialistes dans l’industrie de systèmes de réfrigération et de climatisation pour le transport. Ce rôle vous offrira l’occasion de gérer la logistique critique, en vous assurant que l'expédition et la réception des pièces se fassent de manière efficace et précise, tout en maintenant l'inventaire et en répondant aux différentes demandes des clients dans de brefs délai.

Principales tâches et responsabilités professionnelles :

· Réceptionner les inventaires avec précision, préparer les commandes et expédier les articles d'inventaire rapidement

· Coordonner avec l'équipe d'inventaire pour passer les commandes de pièces au besoin

· Effectuer les tâches de réception et d'expédition pour maintenir les niveaux d’inventaires

· Emballer les commandes pour l'expédition en prêtant attention aux détails

· Tenir des registres précis des expéditions entrantes et sortantes

· Suivre les expéditions et mettre à jour régulièrement les dossiers internes

· Garder l'entrepôt et la cour organisés et propres pour assurer la sécurité et l'efficacité

· Recevoir et stocker les pièces pour l'atelier et les véhicules de service

Qualifications requises

Éducation et développement professionnel:

Diplôme d'études secondaires (préféré, mais non requis)

Exigences en expérience:

Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience dans des rôles en entrepôt ou en expédition/réception
Permis de chariot élévateur (requis)

Aptitudes comportementales:

· Bonne personnalité avec d'excellentes compétences en service à la clientèle

· Niveau élevé de professionnalisme et communication claire

· Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer son temps efficacement

· Capacité à s'épanouir dans un environnement à rythme rapide et à gérer un volume de travail élevé

· Jugement excellent pourrépondre aux demandes et aux défis

Compétences techniques:

· Compétence dans l'utilisation du chariot élévateur

· Maîtrise de la suite MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Compétences en saisie de données précises

· Expérience en vente au détail ou en entrepôt

· Connaissances mécaniques de base

As a Shipper & Receiver at Thermo King Eastern Canada, you will play an essential role in supporting our parts department and technicians in the fast-paced transport temperature control industry. In this position, you will manage critical logistics, ensuring the efficient and accurate shipping and receiving of parts while maintaining inventory and fulfilling time-sensitive customer demands.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive stock, pick orders and ship inventory items accurately and quickly
Coordinate with inventory to place parts orders
Conduct shipping and receiving duties as required
Package orders
Maintain log of inbound and outbound shipments
Track shipment
Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and yard as required
Receive and stock parts for the shop and service vehicles
Support technicians and service advisors in securing required parts in order to complete work orders

Qualifications:

Education and Professional Development:

Secondary Diploma

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving roles
Forklift license (required)

Behavioral Competencies:

Personable with excellent customer service skills
High level of professionalism and clear communication
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of work
Excellent judgment in responding to inquiries and challenges

Technical Competencies:

Forklift operation proficiency
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Accurate data entry skills
Experience in retail or warehouse settings
Basic mechanical knowledge
