Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Siding and Gutter Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the exterior appearance and durability of residential and commercial buildings. This energetic position involves assisting skilled craftsmen in installing, repairing, and maintaining siding and gutter systems. You'll gain hands-on experience in construction practices while contributing to high-quality project outcomes. Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, removal, and repair of siding panels and gutter systems on various building types
Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and caulking guns to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
Support heavy lifting activities to move materials safely around job sites
Read and interpret blueprints or project plans to ensure proper placement and measurements
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and long-lasting results
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in construction and carpentry projects
Previous construction or handyman experience is highly desirable
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings for accurate installation
Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints effectively
Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
Basic understanding of blueprint reading to follow project specifications accurately
Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in construction trades

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
