Full job description

We are currently hiring a Plastic Bag Machine Operator for a manufacturing company located in Etobicoke. The ideal candidate must have previous experience operating plastic bag manufacturing machines and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor plastic bag manufacturing machines
Set up machines and perform minor adjustments as needed
Ensure production runs efficiently and meets quality standards
Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues
Load raw materials into machines
Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area
Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
Report machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors

Requirements

Previous experience as a machine operator is required
Experience in plastic bag manufacturing preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Basic English communication skills
