1) Identification du poste

Département : Restauration

Supérieur immédiat : Directeur Général

Horaire : Mercredi au dimanche, 7h à 15h (fin de semaine obligatoire)

2) Mission du poste

Le Maître d’hôtel de jour est responsable de la planification, de la coordination et du bon déroulement des services du matin et du midi au restaurant Le Riverain. Il assure l’excellence des services de déjeuner à la carte (en semaine) , brunch (la fin de semaine) et dîner en maintenant des standards élevés de qualité, de constance et d’efficacité. Leader sur le terrain, il supervise les opérations, mobilise son équipe et veille à offrir une expérience client personnalisée et irréprochable. Il agit comme un véritable chef d’orchestre entre la salle et la cuisine, anticipe les besoins, gère les priorités en temps réel et contribue directement à la satisfaction et à la fidélisation de la clientèle.

3) Responsabilités principales

Planifier, organiser et superviser les services du déjeuner, brunch et dîner

Assurer la fluidité du service et le respect des standards de qualité

Gérer les périodes de fort achalandage

Intervenir rapidement en cas de problématique ou d’insatisfaction client

Accueillir les clients avec professionnalisme et courtoisie

Offrir un service personnalisé et attentionné

Gérer les situations conflictuelles avec diplomatie

Superviser la mise en place complète de la salle

Planifier l’achalandage du restaurant en fonction de l’occupation de l’hôtel

Gérer le plan de salle et l’attribution des tables

Veiller à la propreté et à l’organisation des lieux

Encadrer, superviser et mobiliser les chefs de rangs et commis

Organiser les sections et responsabilités

Former les nouveaux employés

Assurer une communication fluide avec la cuisine

Adapter les opérations selon l’achalandage

Prévoir les besoins en collaboration avec la superviseure de la restauration

Gestion du système de réservation Libro

4) Compétences et exigences

Expérience en service et en gestion d’équipe

Connaissance d’un POS (Lightspeed – atout)

Leadership et sens du service client

Capacité à gérer le stress

Expérience en restauration hôtelière (atout)

5) Conditions

Horaire : Mercredi au dimanche, 7h à 15h (fin de semaine obligatoire)

Salaire : 65 000 $ à 75 000 $ (incluant pourboires)

1) Position Identification

Department: Food & Beverage

Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (weekends required)

2) Position Summary

The Daytime Maître d’Hôtel is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing breakfast, brunch, and lunch services at Le Riverain restaurant. He/She ensures excellence in à la carte breakfast (weekdays), brunch (weekends), and lunch service while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency. As a hands-on leader, they supervise operations, motivate their team, and ensure a personalized and exceptional guest experience. They act as a key link between the dining room and the kitchen, anticipate needs, manage priorities in real time, and contribute directly to guest satisfaction and loyalty.

3) Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

Plan, organize, and supervise breakfast, brunch, and lunch services

Ensure smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards

Manage high-volume periods efficiently

Address issues or guest dissatisfaction promptly

Guest Experience:

Welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy

Provide personalized and attentive service

Handle conflicts and complaints with diplomacy

Dining Room Management:

Supervise full dining room setup

Plan restaurant traffic based on hotel occupancy

Manage seating plan and table assignments

Ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas

Team Management:

Supervise and motivate servers and support staff

Assign sections and responsibilities

Train and onboard new employees

Coordination:

Ensure smooth communication with the kitchen

Adapt operations based on volume and service flow

Anticipate staffing and operational needs with the restaurant supervisor

Manage the Libro reservation system

4) Skills and Requirements

Experience in service and team supervision

Knowledge of POS systems (Lightspeed – an asset)

Strong leadership and customer service skills

Ability to manage stress and high-pressure situations

Experience in hotel dining (an asset)

5) Working Conditions

Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (weekends required)

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 (including tips)
