About Us: Join a dynamic team at Evergreen Computers dedicated to delivering top-notch computer repair and support to customers in North Vancouver. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction in every service we provide.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Break/Fix Computer Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of hardware and software issues for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Technicians will be expected to perform duties both in-store and on-site at customer residences. Efficient and respectful service is a must.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install and configure computer hardware and software.
Assemble new computer builds.
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on existing systems.
Collaborate with clients to understand issues and provide timely solutions.
Document all repairs and system installations.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology.
Teaching and training clients of all ages to use their technology.
To work in the store location and assist at the counter as well as in customer’s homes.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Computer Repair Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hardware and/or software issues.
Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
Strong knowledge of computer peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners).
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Patience and strong customer communications skills
Customer-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
Certification from CompTIA A+ or equivalent is a plus.
Valid BC Driver’s License
Good written and verbal communication skills
