WHAT YOU WILL DO
Build and own a book of business with custom builders, general contractors, and interior designers across Guelph and Southwestern Ontario. Develop and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with key decision makers including site supers, project managers, designers, and principals. Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements to prepare detailed, competitive quotes for flooring projects across residential, custom builds, and boutique commercial work. Guide clients through product selection including hardwood, LVP, carpet, and tile, with a strong eye for what works in high-end residential builds. Manage your project files with accuracy and care, ensuring smooth handoffs to our scheduling and operations team. Meet regularly with the leadership team to review your pipeline, share wins, and discuss challenges early. Travel throughout Southwestern Ontario for site visits and client meetings. Most projects are 20 to 50 minutes from our Guelph office.
You will manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through measure, quote, and project handoff, while being backed by an experienced operations team that keeps jobs running smoothly once you close.
HOW YOU ARE COMPENSATED
This role offers a base salary to get you started, with a compensation structure that is strongly weighted toward commission. Your commission rate stays the same no matter how much you sell. There is no cap, no tiered slowdown, and no ceiling. If you are a high performer who wants your results to directly determine your income, this is built for you. The right person will see $100,000 as a starting point, not a finish line.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required: Strong communication, organization, and follow-through. You keep your word, meet your deadlines, and keep clients informed. Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule and pipeline. Comfortable with technology including Google Workspace, CRM, and ERP systems. Training provided for our specific systems. Eligible to work on bonded and government job sites if required. Background check required.
Nice to Have: Proven track record in B2B sales within the construction, renovation, or building materials industry. Ability to read and interpret floor plans and take accurate quantity takeoffs. Flooring product knowledge. If you come from construction sales and have a genuine curiosity for product, we will invest in training you on the rest. Existing relationships with custom builders, GCs, or designers in the Guelph, Waterloo Region, or Hamilton corridor.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets by putting the client first in every interaction. Delivering accurate, competitive estimates that align with client expectations and company profitability. Building a loyal book of business where clients come back because they trust you, not just because of the product. Proactively surfacing challenges early so the team can solve them before they become problems on site.
WORK LOCATION
In person. Guelph, Ontario. This is an on-site role and not available remotely.
EXPERIENCE
