Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and commercial driving, along with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs when necessary.

Responsibilities

Operate dump trucks in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
Transport various materials, including gravel, sand, and construction debris, to designated locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or other heavy machinery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding job progress and any issues encountered.
Adhere to safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience in freight transportation and heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Familiarity with basic automotive repair is a plus.
must pass drug test .
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Must be from Lloydminster area and speak clear english.
