About the Company

We are a chef-driven catering company delivering elevated Pacific Northwest cuisine and seamless event service across Greater Vancouver. The Role

We're looking for a driven, personable, and results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow our client base and deepen relationships with existing accounts. This is a hands-on sales role—you'll be on the phone, in the field, and in the office building the pipeline that fuels our growth. You'll report directly to ownership and lead a Sales Coordinator who supports your outreach and proposal efforts.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, isn't afraid to pick up the phone or knock on a door, and genuinely loves food and hospitality.

What You'll Do

Sales & Business Development

Proactively identify and pursue new corporate, event, and hospitality clients through cold calling, door knocking, and networking
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts through consistent, personalized follow-up
Develop and execute a territory sales strategy targeting Greater Vancouver and the North Shore
Attend industry events, trade shows, and community functions to represent the company
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to each client's needs
Track all sales activity and pipeline progress using CRM tools; report regularly to ownership

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts (new event types, expanded menus, larger headcounts)
Gather client feedback and communicate insights to the culinary and operations teams

Team Leadership

Manage, mentor, and support the Sales Coordinator in lead generation, quote preparation, and client follow-up
Set clear priorities and goals for the Sales Coordinator aligned with overall business targets

What You Bring

3–5 years of B2B or hospitality sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Comfortable with high-volume outreach; cold calling and door knocking are core parts of this role, not afterthoughts
Strong relationship-building and communication skills; you're memorable and professional in person and on the phone
Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM software
Genuine enthusiasm for food, hospitality, and events
Highly self-motivated and organized—you own your numbers and your day
Experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or events is a strong asset
Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (some local travel required)
