Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk (Part-Time)

Position Details

Employment Type: Part-Time
Term: Temporary (with possibility of renewal after 6 months)
Office Hours: 09:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

Wage: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk to support daily office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing documents, managing correspondence, and performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate databases, files, and records.
Review documents and update missing or incomplete information.
Prepare, type, edit, and proofread letters, memoranda, forms, and reports.
Answer telephone calls, route calls appropriately, take messages, and provide information in accordance with company policies.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence.
Order and maintain office supplies as required.
Perform general clerical and administrative duties.
Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
Assist with other office duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Office Administration, Office Management, or a related certificate/diploma preferred.
Equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.

Experience

Previous administrative, clerical, data entry, or office experience is preferred.
Minimum of two professional references required.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Ability to learn new software and office systems quickly.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective organizational and time-management skills.
Active listening and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
