Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth office operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount. Prior experience with office management, data entry, and clerical tasks is highly valued. This is a temporary part time opportunity but may lead to ull time employment

Responsibilities

Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Handle filing, document proofreading, and organization of office supplies and records
Provide customer support via phone and in person, addressing inquiries efficiently and courteously
Assist with appointment scheduling and calendar management for various departments
Support bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, and basic financial record keeping
Coordinate with team members to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency

Experience

Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred, including office experience or medical/dental office background
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
Experience with Accounting Edge Pro or similar bookkeeping software is a plus
Strong typing skills with attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Customer service experience demonstrating professional phone etiquette and support skills
Familiarity with front desk operations, filing systems, and multi-line phone systems is desirable
Previous experience in medical or dental offices is advantageous but not required; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour
