Full job description

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated person to join our Guest Services team (around 30 - 40 hours per week).

At Little Sister Getaways, no two days are the same. We’re a small team, so we’re looking for someone who’s proactive, communicates well, and isn’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed. If you enjoy working with people and solving problems, you’ll fit right in.

This is a great opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

What you’ll be doing:

Responding to guest inquiries, sending quotes, and managing bookings (email, phone, booking platforms, and occasionally in person).
Handling day-to-day admin tasks related to guest stays.
Supporting guests during their stay and resolving any issues quickly and professionally.
Coordinating and overseeing scheduled in-unit work, including renovations, building inspections, and preventive maintenance.
Clear, professional and friendly communications with guests, cleaners, team members, and building management (PEKA, Asset West).
Helping out with other tasks as they come up.

What we’re looking for:

Strong communication skills and extreme attention to detail.
Someone who can multitask and stay organized.
A positive, team-oriented attitude.
Confidence to make decisions and take initiative.
Good English (spoken and written – minimum C1).
Ability to travel between our rental properties.

Nice to have:

Experience in Guest Services, Customer Service, or hospitality.
Familiarity with MS Office and CRM systems.
Degree in hospitality or a related field.
Personal vehicle.
Experience with OwnerRez, Booking.com, Airbnb and Vrbo.

Requirements:

Must be legal to work in Canada - we do not offer sponsorship.
Must be a Bow Valley resident with a good knowledge of the local area.
A valid Canadian Driver’s License with clean driving record is a must.

Availability:

Must be able to start by mid August and commit at least until the end of October.
4 - 5 shifts a week (combination of 9AM-5PM and 5PM-11PM shifts would be ideal, including weekends). Days off: Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
On-Call Emergency Line: 11PM-9AM - one week a month (flat rate $200 + extra pay if coming to work is needed ). Good news - we don't have many emergencies!

Benefits:

Extended healthcare with vision and dental coverage available for full-time employees after 6 months.

Staff Accommodation:

Subject to availability.
$700/ month for a shared room in the unit located on site.
