Job description

Our company is a full-service provider of dental equipment and supplies serving dental professionals across North America. Our headquarters is strategically located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

We are driven by a professional management team with a vision to reshape the dental distribution industry by delivering the highest value to dental practitioners.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys administrative work and supporting purchasing operations.

General Purpose:

To support purchasing and procurement activities, including supplier coordination, price comparisons, and inventory support. The ideal candidate is reliable, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers, systems, and vendors.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing products and supplies from approved vendors
Request quotations, compare pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Prepare, review, and process purchase orders
Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and deliveries
Track purchase orders and follow up on delays, backorders, and discrepancies
Maintain and update supplier lists, contracts, and pricing databases
Support inventory tracking, reporting, and reconciliation
Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing Department

Requirements and Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in accounting, purchasing, shipping or administrative support
Strong organizational and data entry skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Excellent command of English with strong spelling, vocabulary, and business writing skills
Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills are considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
