Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Billing Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the billing processes for our residential properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing and account management. Your expertise in accounting software, bookkeeping, and customer service will be essential to maintaining smooth financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a reputable organization dedicated to excellence in property management.

Responsibilities

Process residential billing using Yardi Voyager to generate accurate invoices for tenants and residents
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently to ensure timely payments and collections
Perform account reconciliation regularly to verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
Enter data meticulously into bookkeeping systems while maintaining detailed records of all transactions
Communicate effectively with tenants and residents via phone or email to address billing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Analyze billing data to identify trends or issues that require attention or process improvements
Collaborate with the finance team on account analysis and financial reporting to support overall business objectives

Qualifications

Proven experience with accounting software is required, Yardi Voyager experience is preferred
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes
Excellent data entry skills coupled with sharp analysis skills for financial review and problem-solving
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Solid understanding of financial services related to property management or real estate industry is preferred
Ability to perform accurate math calculations quickly and confidently
Effective negotiation skills to resolve billing disputes or discrepancies efficiently
