Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, managing restaurant functions, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or food industry roles is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Monitor daily restaurant operations, including customer service, cleanliness, and adherence to health standards.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Supervise food service activities, including serving guests and managing barista or kitchen staff as needed.
Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
Implement operational policies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
Foster a positive team environment through leadership and effective communication.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality roles, with supervising experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling experience is required.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Experience in food industry settings including food service, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is desirable.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and oversee daily restaurant functions.
Knowledge of food handling regulations and hospitality best practices.
Previous experience in interviewing and training staff members is a plus.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
