Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented skilled labourer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining sheet metal components using a variety of advanced tools and machinery. This role requires strong hand eye coordination, good organization skills and blueprint reading to ensure high-quality production standards. The team member will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Use hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices for accurate fabrication and quality inspection of parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication.
Load and unload transport trucks with a propane forklift.
Confirm received parts and products match purchase orders.
load sheet metal onto various CNC cutting machines and unload cut parts.
Check parts for quality and quantity to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to meet strict standards.
Assist in assembly processes as needed to complete final products efficiently.
Assemble and wrap finished skids of parts as per provided standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience with manufacturing processes involving sheet metal fabrication.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, hand tools, calipers, and other handheld equipment safely.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to packaging and order fulfillment.
Knowledge of quality inspection procedures to ensure parts meet specifications.
Familiarity with assembly processes within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity for experienced labourers to contribute their expertise within a dynamic manufacturing environment dedicated to precision craftsmanship and safety standards.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
