Full job description

Job Summary
Join our team as a full-time or part-time Baskin Robbins Crew Member and become a vital part of creating a fun and welcoming environment for our customers. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing delicious treats, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the food industry while working in a fast-paced, friendly setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve ice cream, sundaes, and other menu items with attention to quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately
Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and upselling products to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety guidelines
Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly throughout shifts
Assist in food handling procedures, ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to engage positively with guests
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Basic kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or equipment as needed
