Shore Line Brewing Co. is a locally owned craft brewery along Lakeshore Drive in Kelowna, with a large, Sunny patio and bright beachy views inside.

We are looking for a Seasonal Bartender /Server to join our team immediately

Position Summary and highlights:

VERY EXCITING AND BUSY BREWERY/RESTAURANT WITH A LARGE LAKEVIEW/BEACHVIEW AND PATIO

ALL CRAFT BEER MADE ON SITE
JUST HAD OUR 6YR ANNIVERSARYERY
IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR BARTENDERS AND SERVERS THAT ARE FAMILIAR WITH CRAFT BEER, COCKTAILS AND LOCAL WINES
SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED BARTENDER/SERVER WHO WILL HELP CREATE A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT AND AN EXCEPTIONAL GUEST EXPERIENCE THROUGH ENGAGING INTERACTION AND QUALITY OF SERVICE
BOTH DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE, GREAT TIPS ON ANY SHIFT
HIGH ENERGY WITH BAR AND TABLE SERVICE

What will you be doing?

Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the sequence of service
Have full and complete knowledge of all our craft beer and food and beverage menus and recipes to help make thoughtful recommendations
Answer any guest questions about food, beverages, wines in an informative, professional, and helpful way
Assist all guests with any inquiries or requests in a pleasant and helpful manner
Ensure guests are satisfied with their food, beverage and service
Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
Promptly receive drink order chits and pour all beverages to Shore Line standards, ensuring complete accuracy of recipes
Demonstrate integrity at all times
Communicate all service requirements to team members in a courteous and efficient way
Be aware of all cash handling and cash-out procedures, and all methods of payment
Ensure accuracy when entering orders into the POS system, following all policies and procedures
Perform all opening, side, and closing duties, as well as weekly duties to company standards
Understand how to correctly operate all the restaurant equipment while protecting all company assets
Proactively stock and maintain all bar products
Maintain an immaculate, organized, and safe bar area
Other duties as assigned or required

What are we looking for?

Positive attitude and a willingness to think outside the box
Valid Serving It Right certificate
WSET or similar an asset
A passion for hospitality and meeting new people
Organizational skills, ability to multi-task and anticipate guest needs
Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
Minimum 1 year of experience bartending /Serving in a high-volume establishment
Must be available to work evening shifts, holidays and weekends.
Hours may range from 30- 40 hours a week

Pay: $18.25 per hour
